Dear Praying Friends,
The fog of jet lag is lifting, and I need to send out a great big “Thank You!” to all of you who prayed me through my training trip to the Philippines. I felt those prayers, as plane connections were made in spite of plane delays, and exceptions were made to airline policies so Pastor Diawa and I could fly to Leyte on time.
God also showed us how “those that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength,” – after thirty hours of travel, I was refreshed to teach morning, noon and night the next day. After another thirty hours of in-country travel, I was able to teach a long day.
All of this daily reminded me that you were holding me up before the throne “for grace to help in time of need.” Our Filipino workers have heard of your prayers, and saw first-hand God’s answers to those prayers. Your faithfulness is training them to trust God so that they can be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”
Thank you for helping us train them to be faithful workers in God’s harvest.
